Oracle Reports Barcode Library

The Oracle Reports PL/SQL Barcode Library is a PLL file that formats data from fields in the report so that a correct barcode can be created. This Barcode Library font tool contains functions to generate barcodes such as Code 128, Code 39, GS1, Codabar, UCC/EAN 128, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC and EAN.   • IDAutomation PL/SQL Barcode LibraryThe PL/SQL Barcode Library meets the specifications of supported symbologies set by AIM and/or ANSI standards.
  • The Online Tutorial will show how to include the PL/SQL Barcode Library tool in an Oracle Reports project. To use this tutorial, the following requirements must to be met:
    • Developer License for the appropriate IDAutomation Barcode Font
    • Download the Oracle Barcode Library Package, which contains the IDAutomation.pll file.
    • Create a Barcode in Oracle Reports Training Video
  • Source Code is included in the IDAutomation.pkg file for advanced Oracle programmers.
  • Functions Available for Code 128, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, UPC and EAN barcode generation.
  • Licensing - IDAutomation Font Encoders are free to use and distribute with an application with the purchase of a licensed IDAutomation barcode font. Redistribution of these fonts and components requires, at least, a Developer License.

If using Oracle 9i or Oracle 10g, consider using the Java Barcode Package as it is easier to implement in those version of Oracle Reports.
