Office Bar Code Macros & VBA Functions
IDAutomation
offers several barcode font tools, macros and source code for their
barcode fonts. These font tools are used to automate the
process of adding start codes, stop codes and calculating the check
digits for barcode fonts that require them. This Microsoft® Office Barcode
VBA font tool has the following features:

Easy-to-Use
- Macros and VBA functions are ready to install and are only designed
to calculate barcode strings for the
IDAutomation
barcode fonts.
- VBA Macro - These consist of
VBA code and functions, will generate check digits, add the start and
stop characters and format the return string for one of IDAutomation's
barcode fonts.
- Symbology Support -
IDAutomation's Barcode VBA macros for Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
work with the Postnet, Code 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128, UPC-A,
EAN-13, EAN-8, UCC-128, MSI Plessey, Code 11, RM4SCC, 4-State, EAN-14,
SSCC-18 and SCC-14 barcode fonts and specifications.
- Cross-platform Support - The
unique encoding in IDAutomation's fonts and VBA allows cross-platform
support between Macintosh and Windows systems. For example, the same
Microsoft Excel spreadsheet can be used on Windows and MAC computers
that have IDAutomation's font installed.
- Other Barcode Products -
IDAutomation also sells easy-to-use "drag and drop"
ActiveX Controls that may be
easier to use in an application. IDAutomation's
ActiveX Controls have been tested
in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Visual Basic and C++. To see how easy

Licensing
- Font tools are free to use and distribute with an application as long
as it is being used with one of IDAutomation's licensed barcode fonts. Redistribution
of these fonts and components requires at least a
Developer
License.
